Meet the Producers:

 

  • ZULLY PAYA MALAGON: Zully, a 34-year-old farmer from the village of Los Laureles in  the Municipality of Nátaga, Huila, is a dedicated leader in her community. As the president of the rural women's board in the area, she plays a pivotal role in advocating for the well-being and progress of women farmers. Zully resides on a farm called "El Mirador," situated at an altitude of 1,950 meters above sea level, where she cultivates Caturra, Cenicafé, and Pink Bourbon variety coffee.

 

  • VERONICA MESA: Verónica, a 32-year-old Indigenous woman and mother of five children, hails from Los Laureles, a village in the Municipality of Nátaga in the     Huila region. Alongside other women in her community, she manages the production and harvesting of their crops. Her farm, named "Wasa," is located at an altitude of 1,900 meters above sea level, where she cultivates Caturra, F6, and Cenicafé coffee varieties. Verónica's coffee crop is grown on land provided to her by the state through a land relocation program for individuals who have been victims of violence.

 

  • MERCEDES LEIVA: She is a 52-year-old mother from the Buena Vista village in the Municipality of Nátaga, located in the Huila region. She has devoted her entire life to  agriculture, with a particular focus on coffee growing/cultivation. Her farm, "El Sauce," is situated at an altitude of approximately 1,950 meters above sea level, where she grows Caturra and Colombia coffee varieties.

 

GRACIELAORTIZ TIERRADENTRO: Doña Graciela, a 54-year-old widow and mother of three, is the head of her household in the village of El Socorro, within the Municipality of Nátaga in the Huila region. For approximately eight years, she has been deeply involved in agriculture, with a particular devotion to coffee cultivation. Her farm, "Las Brisas," is located at an altitude of1,900 meters above sea level, where she grows Colom
