Las Nubes,located in Agua Negra – Colombia, Huila, is a prime location for producing excellentcoffees. Acquired in 2020, they cultivate various varieties. Focused onsustainability.
Dry: aromaof lavender and candied oranges.
When hot:lavander combined with melon, Medium high acidity, high sweetness. Lemonzest aroma and bitterness in the aftertaste combined with floral notes.
The acidity is supporting the mouthfeel and the sweetness gifting a syrupy androunded mouthfeel framed by a medium light body.
When warm:The sweetness shows still a high intensity. The floral notes give more space tofruity notes such as nectarine, melon, tropical and sweet lemon. The bitternessis even more balanced and the acidity increase its quality. The mouthfeel issmooth and clean.
When cold:shows all its delicacy with a medium lemon candy acidity and high sweetness. Notesof peach, dates. The floral persist in all the experience but it starts as aprotagonist and then leave more space to fruitiness. Melon aftertaste, stillsmooth and juicy. A coffee that never show any dryness or astringency.
